Hey all,
I will be leaving the UK around the 21st March. I am going solo. My budget is going to be around £2250.
I have pre-planned a volunteering position in Cambodia, it is due to begin from 31st March/1st April, lasting a minimum of 4 weeks.
My friend is planning to meet me in Bangkok in the first week of May, then we have 4-5 weeks to travel southern Thailand.
My journey will start, flying from London to Bangkok, as it is by far the cheapest in comparison of flying direct to Cambodia. I want to spend a maximum of 2 nights in Bangkok, then use the 5/6 days I have before Cambodia, staying somewhere on the coast relaxing and exploring.
When I fly back to Bangkok at the beginning of May. Me and my friend are staying in Bangkok, again, for a maximum of 2 nights.
I really want to visit Kanchanaburi and see the tiger temples before heading down south. The biggest thing I need help with is routes and transport. Have looked at flights, train travel and bus times/routes/costs and want confirmation of best form of transport.
My top places of interest are;
*Koh Chang
*Phuket
*Krabi
*Ko Samui
*Ko PhiPhi
*Ko Tao
*Ko Pha ngan
*Ko Samet.
Me and my friend are 20 years of age, are looking to have some fun, good bars, parties , aswell as relaxing on beaches and we love culture and interacting with locals and other travellers.
